2nd European Memory Systems Forum at BSC (29/02-1/03/2024)
I was pleased to take part in the 2nd European Memory Systems Forum organized by Petar Radojkovic in BSC as part of the DeepSEA project. This forum was an opportunity to share our expertise on memory usage from high performance application up to embedded systems. The traditional group photo will apear on the news part of the BSC web site. The topics were interesting and give opportunity to side discussions. Here is the list of presentations :
-
“The Rise of Memory Centric Computing Platforms Emanuele Confalonieri, Micron Technology”
-
“Data compression in the memory hierarchy Angelos Arelakis, ZeroPoint Technologies”
-
“In Memory Processing Programming Model: A state of the art Henri-Pierre Charles, CEA”
-
“Active Compute Memory Petar Radojkovic, BSC”
-
“Automatic Data Placement and Homomorphic Encryption Antonio Peña, BSC”
-
“SHAMBLES: Transparent Page Migration across Memory Tiers Manolis Marazakis, FORTH”
-
“Modelling the performance of Heterogeneous Memory Systems Leonel Sousa, IST/TU Lisbon and INESC-ID”
-
“Mess: Memory systems performance, simulation and application profiling Pouya Esmaili, BSC”
-
“GPUscout: Locating data movement-related Bottlenecks on GPUs Stepan Vanecek, TUM”
-
“Towards Simulating Heterogeneous Memory Hierarchies: Extending MUSA’s Memory Model Dimitrios Chasapis, BSC”
Here are the slides I’ve used during my presentation.
