Compiler Visual illustration using "SSA-based compiler design"

As a compiler specialist, it’s always difficult to visually illustrate compiler activity because code is rarely visually attractive for normal people, especially if dealing with assembly code. But today I receive a book that give me the delightful opportunity to have a nice illustration for this blog post :-)

I receive the paper version (which help to store CO2) of the book “SSA-based Compiler Design” which is a collective book edited and improved by Fabrice Rastello & Florent Bouchez Tichadou. To be honnest I’ve not yet read the whole contents, but I’ve already targeted some intersting parts “Machine code generation & optimization”
